Childhood Diseases

I have 3 year old twins, a pigeon pair.

They use to have a very good relationship with Daddy but recently things changed as my husband started his own business and have been working very long hours. Sometimes they don' t even see him in the afternoons/evenings.

I have noticed that all of this really effects their eating and sleeping habbits. It has now been a couple of nights where they just refused to sleep. They will lie in their beds but refused to sleep.

Is there something that I can give them to assist them to relax and calm down?

Please doc, I need help. The late evenings is causing them to not sleep enough and then they wake up miserable and tired.

As you will know from reading questions on this forum I do not believe in giving sedatives to children. All of the ususl sedatives do more harm than good. You can try Rescue drops which may help. What is needed is for your husband to be home by the time they are due to go to bed and he must spend some quality time with his twins. Perhaps he could start work earlier in the morning in order to finish at a more reasonable time.
