Q.

tummy pains

hi my 2yr old daughter was born with 1 kidney due to MDKD. the last few wks she has been complaining of tummy pain so I PUT IN ON A HIGH FIBRE DIET. Now she is complaining of pain whilst weeing I brought a urine sample to a gp and a dip stick test was fine. I am a bit concerned and dont no what to do next any ideas ????

If she has pain on passing urine it does suggest a urinary infection in spite of the negative Dipstix test. Please have a sample of her urine sent for testing by your doctor.If it is clear it would be best to have her seen by your paediatrician.
