Tummy ache

How do I know if my 3.5 year old is telling the truth about her sore tummy?

I know that a week ago it was true, as she had diarrhea. But this morning she said it was sore, and then asked for some chocolate milk, when I told her that she couldn''t have the milk if her tummy was sore, she promptly " changed"  her mind and said it''s not sore anymore. But she could have been fibbing about that just to get the milk.

She has had diarrhea on and off for the past two weeks. What should I do?

It is difficult to answer your question with certainty without being able to see your daughter. At first it did seem that all she wanted was some chocolate, but her ongoing diarrhoea is a problem.she may have worms,so the first thing you should do is to give her some Vermox syrup 5ml twice daily for 3 days.If her diarrhoea continues stop all fruit juice for at least 2 weeks and only give her fruit to eat once a day.
