Q.

travelling with newborn

Hi
Just wanted advice from expert please
I'm pregnant and due in at the beginning of Oct
Would it be safe to take a newborn overseas about 2 months after birth? We'd like to visit family and want to do it while I'm on maternity leave and my husband is on leave.
Please letme know

You can travel with a young baby, but unless it is essential to do this it is not really advisable. The baby will be exposed to changes in cabin pressure which will affect his/her ears causing pain and also increasing the chances of ear infection. Also the baby will be exposed to virus infections carried by passengers on board the aircraft.
