It will all depend on what your travel plans in India are. Your local travel clinic should also be able to assist as well as family or friends in India. We would definitely consider giving Hepatitis A vaccine in addition to the normal schedule, be sure to use only "safe" water etc. For such a smalll baby it would be better to take him to a local doctor if he becomes ill. You may give the multivitamin syrup, but this is not necessary if your child is starting to eat a balanced diet and drinks infant formula (which is supplemented). The multi-vitamin syrup will not provide protection against possible disease.

Contact a net care travel clinic. They can advise you on which vaccinations to have. Lists are updated yearly with the information. Once you know which vaccinations are advised, you can then contact your paediatrician to find out if these are safe for a baby of that age.

For developing countries its usually cholera and yellow fever that need to be given, but there are others as well and there are often country specific ones.

Some vaccinations need to be given quite far in advance.
