Travel sickness also known as motion sickness is very common in toddlers and young children. She is too young for travel sickness patches. It is best let her sit in her speciall car seat so that she can see out of the car which must be well ventilated, preferably with the windows open if it is not cold outside. Keep her busy by reading to her and focus her attention on things in a book. The driver must drive in a smooth fashion and not jerk the car when starting and stopping. Take the shortest and most direct route and try and avoid bumpy roads. She is not likely to be affected by flying unless the flight is very bumpy. I am not in favour of using any medicines as they often cause drowsiness and may not be effective in any case.
