I would like to know how healty is a trampoline? My children are 4 and 2. The girl is very petite, she is 4.
Are there any negatives

Children enjoy jumping on trampolines, but serious injuries have occurred in children. These include broken bones and even more serious injuries such as broken necks or spinal injuries.I would definitely not recommend that your 2 year old try to jump on a trampoline and your 4 year old should be very closely supervised when jumping or playing on a trampoline.

Its very good for their muscle development and general fitness - and after an afternoon of jumping they sleep so very well.

Safety is however an important issue. When they are this young, use a small gym trampoline rather than a big trampoline - and at all ages make it a rule that only one person is on at a time.
Most trampolines have safety nets to ensure that nobody bounces off them and breaks bones landing.
Teach your children never to belly flop down onto the trampoline.

I also wonder about this, having read about the shaken baby syndrome?
