Q.

Too little Milk?

Hello,

I feel that my son of 6 1/2 months isn't drinking enough milk. He usually has 4 (225ml) bottles per day, but now he only wants 3. He weighs 9kg.

He has his cereal in the morning then he has a little water, late afternoon he has a half a bottle of Purity and then he has a little water again.

He sleeps very well during the day and night - I have never had a problem - but still feel it is to little milk as this should still be his no.1 source of food.

Could it be due to his teething, he had his 1st tooth on 31/12 and his 2nd tooth on 2/01????

Your baby son's weight is far above the average for his age, in fact his weight falls in the top 10% of all babies of his age. So he is doing well and is thriving and there is no need to be concerned about his milk intake.
