Q.

tonsillectomy

My son, 19months is going in for a tonsillectomy and new grommets on Monday. Just want to know what kind of food he can eat on day 1 and after and if it is wise to give milk on the first day as I hear it puts phlem in the throat. How do I go about feeding him for the week after his operation? And what kind of foods?

Thanx in advance

He is only going to want jelly and ice cream on the first day and then he can have soft foods for a day or two. Then he will be able to eat most foods again.

No banana or tomatoes etc. My ENT recommend coke and niknaks chips. Ice cream, jelly, etc.
