Toddler won''t eat fruit and veg

I have a two year old toddler who refuses to eat fruit and veggies, how can I get him to eat it? This is very worrisome for me, as we all know how beneficial they are. I’ ve tried smoothies with the fruit and with veggies I’ ve added some lovely flavours just so that he can enjoy it, but nothing seems to help. The only sort of fruit he gets in is fruit juice 100%. Please help, I’ m at my wits end

Second question I have: he is still drinking bottle (at the moment I’ m giving him nespray), the problem is he would wake up in the middle of the night asking for his bottle, we have tried it with his sippy cup, but he screams blue murder and will only drink it from his bottle. How do I get him off the bottle? During the day all is well, he would have his rooibos tea and take his nap without asking for the bottle. Please help, as he will be turning 3 in February

Many two year olds do not eat vegetables and may not be keen to eat fruit either. I hope that you will get good advice from our regular forum members.

you could also try putting some grated, say apples, in his cereal. If he complains on the grated apples, you could try putting apple or other fruit puree in his cereal.

Have you tried hiding vegetables in his food such as finely grating carrot into spaghetti bolognaise, squeezing tomato juice into bobotie (and of course there are the sultanas in there)? baking bread with grated apple in it?
