Do not try to force your son to eat. He must join the family at all meals. He can sit in his high chair at the table if he prefers this. Put his food in front of him, give him a spoon and let him feed himself. Do not look at him and say nothing to him about eating. He will watch you and will gradually start eaing his food well. Do not be upset if he leaves any food on his plate. This will get less and less as he starts to eat properly.
