Tips for keeping warm in winter at night

Hi there,

Can anyone please give me advise on how to keep my 1 year old warm at nights, especially with winter coming soon.

He turns in his cot and sleeps in many contorted positions, so I struggle to keep a blanket on him.

Many thanks.

I use a grobag (sleeping bag). I started when my daughter was 6 months and used to kick her blankets off, it was great and I never looked back. Bought sumer ones for summer and winter ones for winter, and you get them in different sizes too. Stopped using it at about 2.5 years when she started unzipping herself. When my son was born, I put him in a grobag from birth and he's now nearly 2 and sleeps in a sleeping bag every night - he has never woken up from the cold, and he tosses and turns all night and a blanket would never stay on him

I bought the first few from the UK, the grobag site, but it was quite expensive, I would get friends to bring them back for me. However now I see there are quite a few companies in SA making them and I have just bought a summer one at a baby show and it's just as good (I think they copied the overseas one) but nearly half the price
