Q.

Thrush

My baby girl (5 months) has thrush on her vagina and her bum. I have been treating her with mycostatin cream and the drops. I also add a sachet of Probiflora Pead to her formula every day. It doesn't seem to be clearing up, do you have any other suggestions?

She should take Nystatin oral solution by mouth as well. The dose is 1ml 4 times a day for 5 days. If the rash does not clear ask your paediatrician to see her.
