Q.

Thrush

I noticed this morning that my 7 month old daughter has developed thrush in her mouth. Will it automatically go to her vagina now? What causes thrush? People tell me from not sterilising bottles properly, but I am very strict with her bottles and dummy? What is the best thing to give her to clear it up?

Vaginal thrush is rare in children. You can enquire at your chemist for oral drops, but if the thrush persists it needs to be evaluated.
