Q.

Temperature

My 21 month old has recently had an ear infection and finished his antibiotics. It's about a week later, and he is not himself during the day, and around bathtime (6:30pm) he gets a temperature around 38.5. He is also coughing a lot (dry cough). Should I take him back to the doc or is there something I can give him?

Could it be teething problems? I was told that a temp over 38 is normally an infection of some kind, is this true?

This is not due to teething and a temperature of 38.5 is definitely raised. He has an infection again, this time it seems to be due to a chest infection. You do need to take him back to your doctor.
