Telament Colic drops

Hi Doc,

How long can you a baby Telament colic drops? Can you give her on a continuous basis or have to source alternatives?

Also how much can you put on a 200ml formula bottle? The packaging is not specific.

I suspect my 3 weeks old little girl has colic, she screams at night for hours without sleeping. She stretches her legs and her face sometimes turns red.

She is on a formula and we use pegeon bottles. Are there any bottles we can use that reduces the amount of wind she takes in?

Many thanks,

Telament drops are not absorbed by your baby's body so they are safe. In most cases colic is only a problem for the first 2 to 3 months of life. Your little baby does appear to have bad colic. The dose of Telament is 8 drops added to the bottle. It may help your baby to change her formula to an anti colic formula such as Novalac AC

Hi, My baby is 3 weeks old and suffers terribly with winds and colic.. she doesnt settle at all and screams for hours. I started giving her Telament Colic Drops last night.. 8 drops in her formula bottle of 100mls. About 30 minutes ago i saw a spot on her back ( left hand side ) which came out in a welt.. the welt stayed there for a few seconds and then went away. A few minutes later the welt appeared ( in the same spot ), stayed for a few seconds and then disappeared again. This has been happening for the last 30 minutes or so. Could this be a reaction to the Telament Colic Drops? This is the only new thing that we have introduced to her, nothing else in her enviroment / diet has changed. Please help me.. I am so worried, and its 5pm on a friday afternoon, so i cant even take her to the doctor to be checked out. The pharmacist said it looks like an allergic reaction, and suggested we give my little on 2mls of Allergix, but the allergix is only recommended from 6month onwards, and my baby is only 3weeks old.

I suspect that my little one has colics and stomach discomfort. He wakes up at night, crying, then farts and sleeps. He then woke up at 2am, and did a number 2 that looked really muddy. He is 5 months old. Do i still give him Telament colic drops to relieve such pains?
