Teething and tummy trouble

My 10 month old has 6 teeth all coming through at once! He has a mild temp. but a very runny tummy, his pooh is also very acidic and now he seems to not want to eat solid food, but is still having his bottle. He is generally a strong healthy boy of good weight, should I be worried yet? Last time he had very high temps and a runny tummy I took him to the doc and they just laughed and told me he was teething and it would pass - which it did after a week when his first 2 teeth came out! I just don' t want to miss something more serious or let him get dehydrated. Also is there anything I can give him that will help his tummy too?

Teething does not usually cause a fever and diarrhoea. This is almost always due to a tummy infection, probably caused by a virus. Give your baby extra sips of Rehidrat electrolyte solution. If he vomits or the diarrhoea persists for more than another 2 days please take him to be seen by his doctor.

Thanks, he doesn' t normally have this problem, only the last few days. He is also on a soy formula but I am starting to wonder if this is teething or a tummy bug as he is not eating at all today and only drank 2 bottles. He isn' t lethargy just a little out of sorts. I don' t mind the convenience, it is the problem of not knowing that frustrates me. But that it what I find the most challenging thing about all parenting!

i' m not an expert, but this is normal, my boy is 1 year old and still has that trouble, because he has reflux and allergies, we had to change to Infasoy, and that improved his runny stomach by lots, there are still lots of things he cannot eat, i think because he had colic, his stomach was always soft. you will just have to bare with the sleepless nights and difficult days, it was what pulled me through, you could also try giving him Still Pain Suryp for his temp and pain (your own choice)
