Q.

Teething 21 month

My baby boy is 21 months and I think got most of his teeth, the last 2 weeks he chew on everthing my carperts, clothes,couches everything he can lay his hands on I put some prodol on his gums all the time he doesnt have a runny tummy, fever, cold etc very healthy but I can't get him to stop chewing things, is this maybe teething as well ? ? I had to throw away clothes of him as he chewed holes in it...

His behaviour may be due to teething as he may still be getting his molar teeth. On the other hand he seems to chewing everything in sight which may mean that he has a problem called pica. Pica is usually due to iron defciency in his diet, so ask your doctor to test him for possible iron deficiency.
