HI Doc!

My son is almost 8 months and there is no sign of teething, at the age of 6 months he had swollen gums and I thought he was teething and all of a sudden it just disappeared........ People say he wont be teething because I always check his gums, they say the mother is not supposed to check on her kid' s gums.....

Should I be worried?

You should certainly not be worried, your son's teeth will appear. He is just as low teether. It makes absolutely no difference if you check his gums every day so you can continue looking there for as long as you like.

I don' t think you should be worried he' s teeth will appear in time, just be patient.... my friends baby boy got his first teeth at around 11mnths only.

Good luck!
