teathing and upset tummy/solids

Hi, my baby is five and a half months old and she is teething, she has been very unhappy past few days, crying a lot, and slightly runny tummy. Today her gum is cut and I can see a tooth coming. She is much happier today, but her tummy is still a bit runny, could it be from teething? She seems to be getting some rash on her cheeks as well.

The other thing I wanted to ak is about solids. She is having rice cereal and yellow veggies: carrots, butternut, squash, and sweet potatoes. She is a very good eater o far. I am still breastfeeding her, and extract milk for the cereal. Can I start giving her some peas and other green veggies? And avocado?

Thank you vermuch in advance.

Your baby is obviously teething and this is why she has been unhappy. Hopefully this is just a temporary rash on her cheeks due to the teething and drooling and is not the start of eczema. If the rash worsens it will be necessary to ask your paediatrician to see your baby.
Your baby is on a good diet for her age. You can give her avos and well cooked and mashed peas from 6 months onwards.
