sweating, when to worry

Hi Doc, Compliments of the new season.
My 17 month old sweats a lot, especially when running around or when sleeping. He doesn' t want any blankets when sleeping. The sweating, am not sure whether it cause the rash that he has at the back and neck. I have realised though that in the past couple of days, there is no sweating(because Jo' burg) is cooler and the rash is clearing.Does this meat its heat rash? What else can cause sweating and rash?or am i worrying about nothing?
Thank you kindly

Young children often sweat a lot much as you describe here. This is normal and is part of the body's normal development of temperature control. Some children are unusually intolerant to heat and are most uncomfortable in hot weather.Your son has a typical heat rash. Always dress him in cool cotton clothing incuding his pyjamas. Do not cover him too warmly at night.
