Q.

Sweating alot at night

hi there,

my daughter gets quites hot during the night even in winter, she's 3, she sleeps in a vest and long sleeve pj top and just a nappy, no pants......and there are still nights that she would sweat on her hear and the front of her hair will be all wet, what i'd like to know can she get a head cold if leaving her to sleep just like that....

Many children sweat a lot when they sleep but this seems to be quite excessive. One of the presenting signs of TB in children is night sweating, so I would like you to have her checked to be sure that she is free of this condition-please have her seen by a paediatrician.
