Q.

Suffocating baby


I have an 8 months old baby boy,he likes to suffocate (pull things to his face) especial clothes and blankets, seemingly he is playing coz he giggles when he is doing that. Is this a sign of something? Pliz help me so that i can take action b4 it's too late.

Children of this age often plays peek-a-poo where they hide their face behind something and laugh. This is normal behaviour and is a beautiful stage in a child's development. It is important not to put many soft things in the cot when your baby sleeps, but it is not a problem when he is awake.
