Strange behaviour

Compliments of the season to you.
My son is 16 months old. I took him back to creche on Tues after been on holiday for 3 weeks. We spent every day and night toghther, it was incredible. He has moved up classes and has a new teacher but a lot of his friends are with him. He is acting very strange &  I am a bit worried. This has happend ever day in the afternoon since going back. He moans and cries while pushing &  pulling me. I move in the way that he wants but he just carries on, he tries to pull my top off and when he sits behind me he does the same when I try turn aound he moves with me so that I cant see him.. Should I be worried. He cries when I leave him in the morning but when I pick him up in the afternoon he looks a bit uphappy to be at creche. He used to love going, but this is making me concerened as I am very protective over my angel. Please help...

Thank you for your good wishes. Your little son is showing the typical signs of separation anxiety. You should not be surprised as he has just spent a wonderful 3 weeks with you being at home all the time. Just give him time and lots or reassurance and patience and he will gradually settle down at the creche again.Keep telling him that you will soon come to fetch him again when you drop him off at the creche in the mornings.
