stomach problem for my premature

Hi my son was born prematurely and I was breastfeeding him and sometimes use S26 formula and he started having cramps and he will play the whole day but at night he cries and will sweat to an extend that blancket gets wet and his stomach makes sounds and turns red you will see he is inpain, I gave him scopex and it helped but only for a while I decided to change his milk and gave him infasoy but he is still having a problem and I went to another doctor he said I should give him nutriactive formula. Not sure what to do, pls advise. Is''t really a milk problem? I took him to more than 3 doctors but none of them found a cure. He is turning 5 months next week and growing with the same problem.

It seems that your baby's original problem was typical colic.Another possibility at first was lactose intolerance but he did not improve on a soya formula. What is unusual is that his colic has persisted and he is now 5 months old.Colic normally does not last for longer than 3 months. Perhaps the fact that he is a premature infant is the reason that it has gone on for so long. It would be advisable to put your baby on an anti-colic formula such as Novalac AC.

Thank you very much doctor and I feel so angry because my son''s Paedatrician gave me the same advice but I couldn''t get the formula because am from a very small village. But I will do anything now to get it.
