It is possible that your daughter's tummy cramps are due to a urinary infection, but it is important to keep in mind that she may have another cause for this complaint. Children of your daughter's age often start complaining about tummy cramps and pain if they have worms or more importantly if they get a parasite infection called Giardia.Another possible cause may be the antibiotic that the doctor gave your daughter for the urinary tract infection especially if it is one called Augmentin.Give your daughter a probiotic such as probiflora daily for 10 days. If she continues to complain about tummy cramps please ask your doctor to see her again.
