Q.

stomach bug

Hi
My two year old son started vommiting on Saturday and the doctor confirmed it is a stomach bug and was given medication.However on Tuesday he started vommiting again with severe diarrhea.We have decided to take him back to the doc.Is there a virus in the aiir and how dangerous is it.

There is indeed a lot of gastro-enteritis infection seen in young children now, especially caused by rotavirus infection. It is important to take your son back to the doctor as he may become dehydrated due to his severe diarrhoea and vomiting.
