SPEECCH - or the lack of it?

My son will be 3 on 8th June 2011. His speech is very poor as he does not even say mummy or daddy. he still gurggles like a 1o months old althouhg lately I have been trying to teach him the alphabet and he trying to simulate. I just want to know if I should worried and take him to a therapist. If so can you recommend a good one in the PTA north area?

I have also noticed that he is growing extrmely aggressive when he trys to communicate something and we dont understand him. Is this because of the lack of speech??

This is a good and useful question.Your son is now 3 years old hardly speaks. You say that he gurgles like a baby. You have done your best to help him to learn to speak without any success. It is now time for him to see a speech therapist. Try Trudie Bye and Associates at 0127512000. Importantly your son will have his hearing tested as well when he is seen there.

Yho Gal! Welcome to my world, my LG does exactly that and she is turning 3 on the 10th June. I can see she understands when you say but can''t talk back, rather be agressive and irritated, throw things at you. She knows how to say " hi, bye, mommy, take" .

I think its the talking they turn them into what they do but the doctor will give the best advice for what to do.
