Q.

soya formula & stools

Can soya formula, Isomil, be the reason that stools look black at times?

The stools can often have a greyish colour but should not be black. If your baby is passing stools which definitely have a black colour this may be due to your baby being given extra iron or possibly bleeding in the intestine. Please ask your paediatrician to see your baby if the stools are definitely black and not just a grey colour.
