Sores in head

My 3 year old daughter has yellow -|- pimples in her head which she sometimes scratches and it becomes sores. She perspires terribly at night, to the point where her pillow is wet. I now have to wash her hair every 2nd day because the smell of sweat is overwhelming. I got Adco-Dermed shampoo from the pharmacist but my daughters hair is thick and I cant continue purchasing this shampoo as its quite costly and she needs a lot on her. What else can i do, is the sweat the cause of this?

It is difficult to be certain of your daughter`s scalp condition without being able to see her. She may have a scalp condition called seborrhoea. Try a tar shampoo which you use only every second day called Tritar shampoo.Do not allow the shampoo to get in her eyes and only use a small amount of shampoo to wash her hair at a time.If her scalp does not clear after 10 to 14 days please ask a doctor to see her and to make a diagnosis of her scalp problem.
