Q.

Solids

Hi There!
My daughter is 15 weeks old almost 16.
Started her at creche on mon and they have now just gone and given her solids without asking. Is it not bad for their tummies to start solids so early.
I also did not want to give her purity because I was told its not very healthy, how true is this?
Also, how badly will it affect them if they are having five feeds instead of 4 bottle feeds as indicated on the tin?
Thanks

She should stay on the number of feeds she is used to. It is OK to start introducing solids at around 4 months but only a little cereal at first, preferably a rice cereal.Tell the creche not to give your baby anything you do not want her to have.
