Q.

Snoring

My son is 2 and half years old. He has been snoring on and off for about 2 weeks now. He had a cold and ear infection about a month ago. Could it be that his nose is full of mucous or that he is really snoring. Is it normal for kids this age to snore? Please recommend a remedy.

Children of this age should not snore and when they do it means that their noses are very blocked. This is usually due to enlarged adenoids in this age group. It is necessary to see an ENT specialist.
