I have a 3month 2weeks baby boy. his poo and urine is so smelly is this normaly for a 3 months old baby?

His urine should not be smelly and it would be a good idea to ask your doctor to test his urine to make sure that he does not have a urinary system infection.His stools may have a smell depending on his feeds, breast milk or formula. I presume that his stools are the normal colour and that he does not have watery stools.

No, it isn''t.

Stools should be soft and mustard coloured with what looks like little seeds in them and have a sort of sweet smell. That''s the norm. If baby has formula it can make the stools harder, green from the iron that can''t be absorbed properly and a bit smelly.

Urine should only smell if the nappy is not changed regularly.

You should probably phone your clinic.
