Q.

Slow speech development

My son is 4 yrs old and and he use to go to a day care mother until the beginning of the year as I felt she did not do enough to improve his speech. He understands when you speak to him but really find it difficult to pronounce simple words. His vocabulary improved alot since he started attending pre-school, but still battles to speak clearly or make prominent sounds.

What can I do to improve his speech.

You need to have him seen by a speech therapist. Ask your doctor to refer you or you can contact one in your area directly. This is the time to put things right.
