Q.

sleeping on tummie

Afternoon

Just wanted to know... Baby is 10mnths now. She has never slept on her tummie, but lately she rolls over onto her tummy. I'm just a bit paranoid that she will not be able to breathe. Everytime I check up on her, she's on her tummie with her face flat down on the pillow. I use a breathe-able pillow for her, but still, I cannot find peace with her sleeping like that.

Is there any chance of cot death? What should I look out for?

She is getting out of the danger period for cot deaths in babies and is now used to sleeping on her tummy. It will be very difficult to get her to sleep on her back now. She has a natural reflex which enables her to raise her head and it is extremely unlikely that she is in any danger of suffocation.
