Unfortunately I am not aware of any medicine that will rmedy this and giving a sedative will not be a long term solution. The usual thing will apply; to keep a child to a strict routine at night time, to prevent exposure to disturbing scenes in movies etc. and maybe to alllow him to lie with someone if he is really restless. Normally the sleep walking does not truly disrupt his sleep, but if you truly feel he is not getting enough sleep an afternoon nap may be needed on some days. It may also be worthwhile to consider other causes for the tiredness and blue rings under the eyes.
