Q.

Skin and Weight problem

My son is 8 years old and has a skin problem, his skin is always rashy,its like eczema and the doctor said its not and he gave him colourmine to put on and said it will go away and it didnt, and I went to pharmacy and they advise me to use Bio-Oil, I tried that and there is no change, its been 2 months now.
Another thing, Ive a problem with his weight, he is so thin and the GP said he is healthy but Im worried because you can see his ribs, He eats a lot especially bananas, I always give him a glass of milk mixed with calsuba every day with cereal and there is no change, pls advise.

The skin rash may be due to scabies. Take him back to the doctor and ask if this is the diagnosis.
The doctor must check him for possible TB before I would be satisfied that he is well but a naturally thin child.
