good day doc

my son has dry red patchess on his back it use to be a rash but thats cleared up an the red patchess of dry skin is still there he uses johnson &  johnson lotion an powder an other johnson products.... could this be the cause of the dry skin... how does one know when a child is having an allergic reaction to certian products my son is 3months old

It is difficult to be sure about your baby's rash without being able to see her. It is likely that she has the first signs of eczema. Do not use the Johnsons oil or soap or powder on her skin. Apply a good quality baby aqueous cream to the dry patches twice a day. If her skin does not clear after 1 week ask the nurse at your nearest baby clinic for advice.
