Six months old boy without appetite

It’ s been two months now, since my son lost appetite in food. His current weight is 7.7kg. I have given him Vi-Daylin Drops and recently Clusivol without success. Is there anything I can possibly do to boost his appetite?

The average weight for a baby boy of 6 months is just under 8kg. Your baby son's weight is just below the average and there is no need for concern at this stage about his appetite. His main source of nutrition now should be his milk.Make sure that he does not have a blocked nose as many babies will not eat if they have a blocked nose.He may be teething now which also may interfere with his appetite.Offer him only rice or maize cereal and fruit such as apple or pear suitable for his age. Gradully introduce vegetables such as pumpkin and butternut and sweet potato. Only introduce one new food at a time.
