Q.

Sinus or flu

My son started with a runny nose, I don't know if it is sinus or the start of flu, but I've given him Demazin to clear up his nose cause it is for allergies and colds & flu, but it's been over 10 days and his nose haven't cleared up yet. I don't want to continue with it too long. He doesn't have a fever or anything but is grumby the whole time, plus he is teething, so don't know if the crying is because of the teething or him not feeling well. Is there something else to clear up his nose or should I take him to the pead. He is now almost 20 months old. And I also try and clear his nose with Sterimar salt water, but it's as if I can't clear his nose (the colour is almost yellowish/green) which I think could be infection)

He seems to have a severe upper respiratory infection which sounds like an adenoid infection. He is not responding to the usual simple measures and it is time for him to be seen by his doctor.
