Childhood Diseases

My 22 month old has allergies and is chronically on deselex and iron supplements for three months now as she had a major iron deficiency and since we had a healthy child as i am used to visiting the dr office every second week with a sick child. The meds seems to be working but the last three days she started with clear mucus running and coughing worse everyday. Is it fine if i give demazin twice a day 2.5ml and use flixonase drops also twice daily. Would really prefer rather to try and treat her at home before it get to the stage of antibiotics due to bacterial infections as she is in creche. Your advise would be much appreciated.

There is nothing quite as safe and effective as using a saline nasal spray or drops to clear a young child's nose of mucus.Use Sterimar Children's nasal spray twice daily. If your little girl attends a creche you should consider keeping her at your home this year. With winter approaching her frequent illnesses are very likely to continue.
