Q.

Sinus

hi there doc
My little one have a sinus drip , aswell as a runny nose. You can actual hear when he coughs it is a post nasal drip. my pharmacist suggested to give him coryx to dry up. I have been using this now for about 5 days but no improvement. anything else you can suggest. The clinic sister did listen to his lungs, because when I took him to get weighed last week he coughed while we were there, there is nothing in his lungs it is all in the windpipe.
Mommy & daddy both suffers from post nasal drips.

Regards
Princess

if you read this column regularly you will notice that I don't recommend antihistamine/decongestant mixtures like Coryx for children with post-nasal drips because they don't help. Rather keep his nose clear with Saline nose drops 3 times a day for a week and then twice daily for 2 weeks.
