Q.

Sick since 12 weeks, Rotovirus,Prevenar

Doc,

My twelve week old baby has become a sickly since she got her 12 week shots. She was given 6in1, and her first rorovirus drops and firts prevenar. She has become generally unhappy and is not drinking her bottle. She used to drink 6 120 ml of NAN HA per day. She is now only taking about four. She is also very windy from two weeks and was changed from NAN to NAN HA. She is also prodcing a lot saliva and playing bubbles with it. She however does not feed more than 40ml at a time. Is she sick, teething, or just reacting to vaccines. What must I do doc?

Paediatrician

It is unlikely that your baby's symptoms are due to teething. She may be reacting to the recent vaccinations, but her symptoms are rather unusual and she does not seem to have a fever. She may have a lactose intolerance and this is not helped by using NAN HA. Rather try her on NAN LF and see if this helps. If there is no benefit ask your paediatrician to see her just to be on the safe side.
