Q.

SICK OF LICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My kids have had this since April!!! in varying degrees, but the nits still seem to remain (the eggs that are attached to the shaft). I have tried all sorts of chemical based lice shampoos, washed bedding etc. on boiling hot water cycle thousands of times, combed these nits out (but it was almost impossible to get all the hundreds of them I must have missed some).... What else can I do? I am FED UP and the school is FED UP with me too?!!!! Should I make appointment with the GP - can anything else be prescribed - I want these things gone!!! gone gone - NOW!!!!!!!

Paediatrician

This is obviously a problem of reinfection each time. Your children are getting the nits from other children at school each time and it is then spreading from the one to the other. You seem to have tried all the usual treatments, so I suggest that you see a paediatrician to assist you in clearing your children. It is you who should be blaming the school not the other way around.
