Severe Nappy rash

My 7 month old baby has the most severe nappy rash I have ever seen. I have been chaning nappy's 2-hourly, giving her time in the sun (albeit winter) and still no change. It is raised, red with little spots all around the rash. She definately got it from a change in nappy manufacture but has recently popped her first tooth, had baby measles (approx 3 weeks ago) and had oral thrush (2 weeks ago.) Please help, what can I give her to treat the rash?

If she has had oral thrush recently then this is almost certainly a candida nappy rash.Use Nystatin cream applied after every nappy change which should be as often as you can manage so as not to leave a wet nappy in contact with this rash for too long.

i have the solution to hectic nappy rash straight from my paed.
Go to the chemist and buy a tube of bepanthen nappy rash cream and another tube of nystacid. Get a container and mix equal amounts of both creams in and apply a thin layer at every nappy change. believe me it is the only thing tht works. It also treats fungal infections should it be that. good luck
