Q.

Seperation anxiety

At what age do babies/toddlers experience this? My LO is 16 months and is all of a sudden crying a lot and wants to be picked up all the time. Apparently he is also tearful at nursery school, which wasn't the case before.
Also, he cries himself awake at night all through the night and even at nap time at nursery school - I'm not sure what to do. Please advise.

Separation anxiety is very common at this age. Your son has this very badly at present. Is it not possible to make some other arrangement wher he can be cared for at home or go to his Granny for the day while you are working?
