S26 Gold for 6 months old

Hi Doc

My baby has just turned 6 months and I am now giving her the S26 gold for 6 - 12 months. She has been on S26 Gold since birth. However, I have now noticed that since putting her onto the 6 months formula, she seems to suffer alot with stomach cramps and passes alot of painful wind. She now passes stool once a day compared to three times a day.

Is this due to her now going on the 6 month formula.

SHould I change her formula, if so which one.

This is very common on SMA Gold2. Try her on NAN2.

Hi Desert
Any change in formula/food seems to cause changes in bowel movements as their bodies adapt to the change. Did you change the teat as well, maybe the flow is too fast or too slow. Ideally your baby should drink her bottle in +- 10min. If it's taking too long or too quick then look at changing the teat to suit her. This could be causing winds.
