Q.

Routines

I am the Mom of month old twin boys. We do not have a routine at all. Partly because I am not a person who likes routines but I would like to instill some routine in their day.
At might they drink 3 bottles each waking at approx 11pm, 2am and 5am. That is after I put them to bed at about 6:30.
But during te day they have no routine - what is a practical routine to follow and how do you isntill it - how do you force the baby to eat and drink when you want them to. Up to now I have taken care of every need my boys had - when they are hungry I feed them and when they are tired I put them to bed. They are 2 very happy boys but I would like a little more predictability and anything to make them sleep for longer at night??

You seem to be doing all the right things and raising twins is always an additional challenge. Any child routine is established by being very consistent in your own behaviour (this should always be loving and fair) and by not allowing any alternatives. You seem to be doing very well for twin babies who are still this small.
