Q.

Rooibos tea

Hi,
My baby is 7.5 months old. He has been on solids from 3 months and currently has 3 meals a day and also the following to drink:

Nan2, water, rooibos tea (weak and cooled) and sometimes mixed with a juice, like apple or fortris. He also has the occasional purity juice on its own.
I would like to know can I mix rooibos with formula milk at this stage to introduce a 'tea'.

Usually there is no need for a child of this age to drink anything but milk (formula or breast) and water if required for thirst.

Hi,

I did mix the rooibos with formula.... like I told you before my boy doesn't want anything but his milk, he use to eat 3meals a day drink juice and tea (without milk), but since about 2weeks ago nothing.......... just want his milk...
So.... I fooled him, as long as the content of the bottle is white he drinks it..... made him rooibos with his formula..

I hope it's ok, but it did nothing to him.
