Q.

Respiratory Synctial Virus - Bronchiolitis

What is Respiratory Synctial Virus.
They say it is also known as Bronchiolitis? It is a Lower Respiratory Tract Infection. I searched on the SA sites and cannot find anything on Bronchiolitis.
What is the SA word for Bronchiolitis? Pneumonia? But Pneumonia is uppper and lower infection?
What cause Bronchiolitis?

Bronchiolitis is the term used in SA as well and it is usually caused by RSV. Infections show very definite seasonal variation and young children, especially infants born pre-maturely are most at risk.
